Questions
What's the best app for planning a group trip?
It depends on what the group needs. If you want to plan together — a daily plan, polls, tasks and split expenses in one place — that's what we built Tripw for. Frequent solo flyers who mainly want their bookings organized will like TripIt, and people who plan on a map from a computer will like Wanderlog.
Is Tripw free?
Yes. You can plan a trip and invite friends for free. Plus adds things like AI, automatic booking import and travel documents — and everyone who joins a Plus member's trip gets them too.
Why not just use a spreadsheet?
A sheet is great for lists, but everything in it is done by hand: typing in flights, working out who owes whom, converting currencies and reminding people. In Tripw that just happens, and the plan reads well on a phone — even offline.
How current is the information about the other apps?
We checked their official websites in September–October 2026. A feature we couldn't find is marked "not listed on their site", not "no". Spotted a mistake? Write to support@tripw.co and we'll fix it.
